Artistic Motion Dance Academy was founded in 2010, by Angela McCord McGarity. We are proud to be a leading dance studio in Tarrant and Johnson Counties, offering the most comprehensive and diverse performing arts training program in the area. Our curriculum is thoughtfully designed and led by highly qualified, experienced, and educated instructors who are dedicated to developing each dancer’s potential. As part of our commitment to excellence in dance education, we have also established our own chapter of the National Honor Society for Dance Arts, providing additional opportunities for recognition, leadership, and academic achievement.

From recreational classes to competitive and pre-professional training, as well as adult programs, we provide opportunities for every age and level. Our unique class offerings—such as our Daytime Dance Program, Me & My Shadow, Progressive Ballet Technique, Injury Prevention, Acting, Modern, Commercial Dance, Pom & College Dance Prep, K-Pop Dance, Adult Tap, Adult Ballet, Ballroom, Choreography 101, and our Assistant Teacher Training Program—set us apart as a studio committed to both excellence and innovation.

AMDA is proud to offer THREE spacious, state of the art, dance studios, with sprung dance floors, floor to ceiling mirrors, viewing windows for observers, and advanced sound systems. Our facility provides plenty of room for students to learn, grow, & have fun dancing! We also have a large lobby, private dressing room for dancers, a security system, and ample parking. Along with providing a safe space for your dancers and implementing quality dance education & training, we are continuously reminding our dancers of the beauty and importance of dance through the AMDA motto:
